Dear Friends,

Summertime is a wonderful time of year and brings to mind vacations, family reunions, and fun sporting activities outdoors.  Unfortunately, foster children don't always enjoy this time of year.  Separated from friends and family, and moved from foster home to foster home, it can be very lonely.  Please consider becoming a Court Appointed Special Advocate--not only to advocate for a child in court but to be a consistent person in his/her life.  We have continuous training cycles and it only takes about 10-15 hours a month to make an incredible impact in the life of a child. 

We also need the financial support of our community-it costs less than $2,000 to provide a child with a CASA for a year--money well spent to ensure that a foster child is receiving the services he/she needs and giving hope to him/her when he/she is in crisis. And everyone needs someone to believe in them.  This summer help us make a difference!
