CASA-w-child-steps.jpgVoices for Children has opportunities for those willing to volunteer their time and love to improve the lives of San Diego County foster children. We provide you with Information Sessions, Training and the tools you need to make a positive impact on the lives of those who need you most. Please read the following information carefully to learn how you can play such a special role in the life of a child. Thank you.



Information Sessions

These 90-minute sessions are a chance to learn more about the role of a Court Appointed Special Advocate. Volunteers and staff will be available to answer your questions.

Wednesday, August 18, 2010 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  (Call for Location)

Wednesday, September 15, 2010 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (Call for Location)

Important Note:

We should receive your Volunteer Application, including a one-page biography, by the information session in order to move to the next step - scheduling your personal interview. Please mail, fax or bring the application with you to the info session.

 
Training

Voices for Children offers all of the training you need to perform your new volunteer role. Our training is called Advocate University.  Our next training begins Saturday, October 2, 2010. If you would like to get started right away please call Susan at (858) 569-2096 ext. 5259.
